THE SPEAKERS

Since Pedro arrived to Frankfurt in 2011, after having professional stations in Lisbon, Paris and Madrid, he had good vibes about the city’s potential!

After working in international projects for years, Pedro decided to leave his footprint in the regional StartUp scene. How? By participating and starting himself different StartUps, like Xperince.Plus, he drove two of his Master Pieces with particular energy and passion: Frankfurt Valley and Founder Institute; platforms to create a safe ecosystem for international entrepreneurs in the Rhein-Main Region and Hessen, building a strong community of like-minded people that shares the vision of creating value within the community and Scale globally.

Self-declared as a creative, flexible, and visionary networker, Pedro will take us through a failure story with epic learnings!

It was a summer day in Naples, when Hermina, 19 years old back then, discovered what would be one of her major passions in life: the local tomato sauce.
For her, a culinary shock! Used to ready-to-eat sauces, she soon understood that the unique italian flavour was coming from the ingredients and the cooking method. And that experience changed her life.

After finding a partner in Italy to support her dream come true, she decided to start producing her own sauce (in Italy) to fascinate German consumers: and she did it!

Now, her “Salsa Paradiso” has grown to become a reference to a real italian sauce in a jar.
Do you want to know more about her story? She will tell it all in a FuckUp.

Martín came from his native Alicante in Spain to Germany after finishing his Bachelor as engineer: with few money and lots of dreams.

After arriving, he made his own way in the professional market, swifting from the Engineering into the Financial sector and reaching important positions as employee. In 2011 Martin quitted his position as Finance Controller and became Freelancer Consultant, using his best assets: courage, hardwork and perseverance.

After settling down in Frankfurt, Martín has become a renowned Financial Consultant, advising multinational corporations, such as Danone and Allianz in six countries around Europe. At the same time Martín has become a successful investor, achieving in 2018 his biggest goal until then: reaching financial freedom!

Frankfurt Valley is an ecosystem platform covering Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Creativity and other disruptive topics from Hessen and the Rhein-Main region, partnering with multiple stakeholders and advocating for a more diverse and international mindset that will help our community members to succeed.

Created in 2010, Salsa Paradiso is available in two versions: mild and a spicy. The best about Salsa Paradiso is that it is cooked after a family recipe from Napoli only once per year in (August) using only fresh tomatoes. They are gluten- and lactose-free and of course vegan! You only taste the bright flavour of fresh tomatoes.

Founded by Martín Jiménez, this Frankfurt based consulting company provides Financial and Managerial Consulting Services to companies in Germany and Europe. With proven expertise in six European countries for multinational corporations, the range of services can be tailor-made according to customer needs.
